elevenrecords Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 Recommended in 85% of reviews, but it's a Holiday Inn. Generally I'm not a big fan of Holiday Inns... But, we'll see how this one is. I was hoping based on a previous Better Bidding post that it would be the Whitcomb. But, no such luck. As per usual, booked through your site HOTWIRE links.
AaronJB Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 Sorry to hear that you didn't get the Whitcomb, but hope this property will still work out okay for your travel plans. Can you confirm the amenities that were showing with this listing?Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.

thereuare Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 I was hoping based on a previous Better Bidding post that it would be the Whitcomb.AmenitiesFitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s),Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service), High-Speed Internet AccessI don't think the Whitcomb has a pool, which would have excluded this one from the possibilities.Feel free to ask the board for help/confirmation before your next purchase and we'll try to help.Enjoy your stay... i'm sure it will be fine for just one nite :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
TomPSP Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 Wanted to reassure you, as I've stayed at this hotel couple times in the past year. It's been remodeled from top to bottom, and has a very modern feel. It is directly behind the Whitcomb, and between the two, I'd prefer the HI any day !!!. Much nicer and safer feel than the Whitcomb
