Hotwire Hotel: 3* San Francisco (Civic Center South-Hayes Valley) Holiday Inn

Recommended in 85% of reviews, but it's a Holiday Inn. Generally I'm not a big fan of Holiday Inns... But, we'll see how this one is. I was hoping based on a previous Better Bidding post that it would be the Whitcomb. But, no such luck.

I don't think the Whitcomb has a pool, which would have excluded this one from the possibilities.

Wanted to reassure you, as I've stayed at this hotel couple times in the past year. It's been remodeled from top to bottom, and has a very modern feel. It is directly behind the Whitcomb, and between the two, I'd prefer the HI any day !!!. Much nicer and safer feel than the Whitcomb
