Hotwire Hotel: Help ID 3.5* Virginia Beach Hotel Please

Hello. I'm traveling to Norfolk/Virginia Beach from 4/21/11 to 4/25/2011 area and am unsure which area and hotel to choose. I'd like to be close to the beach, but if there is a really good hotel in Norfolk we can drive to Virginia Beach for a better stay.

There's a 3.5* Virginia Beach Area Hotel with the following amenities:

- Resort

- Shuttle

- Fitness Center

- Pool

- Restaurant

- Business Center

- High Speed Internet Access

- Golf Nearby

I searched for Resorts in Virginia Beach and was thrown off a little because they seem to be oceanfront resorts and this particular one doesn't have the oceanfront or seaside label.

I'm also looking at a 3.5* Downtown Norfolk Area Hotel and am a little confused because the Sheraton and Marriott that were listed seemed to have at least one thing that this particular hotel doesn't (ex. laundry). Here are the amenities:

- Smoke Free

- Fitness Center

- Pool

- Restaurant

- Business Center

- High Speed Internet Access

I'm usually pretty good at narrowing it down using this forum, but I didn't find a previous entry so far.

I'll be sure to use the HOTWIRE link.

For the 3.5* Virginia Beach property, if you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all " link on top of the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above?.

Yes, the two additional amenities are "Tennis Nearby" and "Spa Services."

The Virginia Beach property has not yet been reported to the board and i'm not quite sure which one this may be.

My guess for the Downtown Norfolk property is the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside with the addition of a Smoke Free icon since it was last reported to the board.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Just joined so I am sorry I did not use this site to make my reservation however I will in the future. I can confirm the 3.5 star for Hotwire I made today for 5/27 - 5/29 as the Founders Inn and Spa for $61.00 / night or $172.09 for 2 nights including tax but not Resort Fees.
