dahammer Posted April 28, 2005 Report Share Posted April 28, 2005 when bidding, never look back!! :) The Candlewood is a nice property and although you can walk to the PATH station nearby, the hotel shuttle bus will take you within a 1 mile radius of the hotel. Doesn't sound too far, but many restaurants, a supermarket (with a fine adult beverage section), and a mall are in this area. I wonder if they consider the west side of NYC to be within this 1 mile radius...... :) If it makes you feel any better, the Hotwire rate for this hotel are $109, but the rate booked directly with the Candlewood is $99.99.....
