iwannaroom Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 After having bids of $50, $55, $60, and $64 for Downtown North and South for 2 nights rejected, including those for 3*, I came back another dayand tried the airport region, where rooms are cheaper, but for just 1 night.When rebidding, I threw in Downtown South for $58, and, much to my surprise, got a room there.(But the offer to extend the stay to the second night was not at the discountprice, only at regular rates, so don't get your hopes up when you see that.)I was upgraded from 3 1/2* on the bid to 4*.Total price about US$73 after fees and taxes.Regular prices for this hotel are $300 and up, so this was quite a surprising result.I used the PRICELINE link from here to start the process.
