Hotwire Hotel: 4* San Francisco (USE) Parc 55 Wyndham

We're planning on being in San Francisco between June 26 and July 3. We've identified USE or USW as our most desired locations? Is there a big difference between the two?

We've also seen previous successful bidders get the Parc 55 Wyndham in USE and USW--are there two locations of this hotel?

We'd like a four star in one of these districts, what is the bidding strategy you'd recommend?

Thanks!

There's only one Parc 55.

Priceline and Hotwire don't use the same zone map in downtown SF. On Priceline Parc 55's in USW-Nob Hill zone. On Hotwire it's in USE zone---even though the Parc 55 is actually west of Union Square.

So you'll see it reported in USW (on Priceline) or USE (on Hotwire).

If you would like to get help with a bidding strategy so please post your max budget/night before tax/fee.

Are you willing to stay in both USW and USE, or just USW?

Let us know how we can help you further.

Okay, as we mentioned, we're planning at staying at a 4* hotel in SF between Sunday, June 26 and Sunday, July 3. We've heard that for stays of this length, you can often get the cheaper rates by splitting your stay among two hotels. We would like to stay in USE from the 26th to the 30th (four nights), and then from the 30th to July 3rd (three nights) in the Financial District. We've heard that the Financial District can be cheaper on weekends, is this accurate?

If so, what would you suggest for a bidding strategy? We were thinking our very top bid, at this point, would be $110.

Thanks for the help.

At the 4* level in San Francisco you have SIX re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* USE...

Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $100

Any questions feel free to ask.

For you 6/30-7/3 stay you can do the same but select the Financial District instead of USE.

HOWEVER, if you win a room for this leg of your stay please report the win in a NEW TOPIC and we'll use this thread for the 6/26-6/30 leg of your stay.
