DCGUY9 Posted April 26, 2005 Author Report Posted April 26, 2005 That bid was my only one. I simply read other posts on this site and bid $79. By the way...what other hotels could have come up at 4* inner harbor?Thank you so much!

felicitation Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 My experience in this hotel was bad. Reception staff rudely informed us that "priceline customers have no priority so you just take whatever room we give you" though I called in advance put in my request. The hotel is squre shaped and has an inner courtyard rooftop. You have to walk all the way around the corridor for ages, because elevators are just in one place each floor.

dahammer Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 Stayed here for a meeting a few years ago, the location of this property can't be beat, right in the middle of the Inner Harbor area. I think this is a mixed use building with both hotel rooms and offices, hence the long wall from the elevator to the rooms. If not already a Marriott Rewards would join the program and present the card upon check in, although they will not give you any points, they may put you in a room to your liking. I wouldn't think the hotel is near capacity on a Friday night, so you might call the hotel and ask to put your room preference on your reservation. Had dinner at the Baltimore outpost of Boston's Legal Seafoods, make a right as you exit the hotel and walk less than a block. The Thai-grilled calamari appetizer was superb :) but made the mistake of sharing it with the rest of the table!! :) This hotel is within walking distance to the National Aquarium, the Convention Center, and Camden Yards to see the first place Orioles.
