Welcome to BetterBidding!

Please start by reading your messages

The Holiday Inn Express has never been reported to the board in this area, but note that when bidding on PRICELINE you can't bid on a specific hotel... are you comfortable winning a hotel anywhere within the shaded boundaries of this zone?

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (and please click this PRICELINE link before replying)

Thanks.

As well as yellowdog's link, if you put "hollywood" in the Quick Search box (top center of page here), you will see all the bidding results reported here. Page back to October, 2010 and you will start to see 3* reporting.

If you bid for 2.5*, Priceline MIGHT choose to upgrade you to a higher star level (3* or higher), but it WON'T give you a lower star level.

Thanks for this :) Any advise ona good time to bid? Im looking at staying in 3.5* Santa Monica on 28th April 11 and 4* Hollywood 29th & 30th April.. Is it too far in advance to book now do you think for the best price?

It's not too early to bid but your Hollywood dates, a Fri/Sat nite, may be difficult. The 4* Roosevelt is sold out and the W is $399.

Hotwire has a 4* for $307 that looks like W.

PRICELINE usually beats HOTWIRE on rate so you might get W for less than $307 on PL but it could be $200+.

What is your price range/budget for your Hollywood nights, as that will determine your options.

Please start a new thread for 4/28 in Santa Monica.
