Goldeneye Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 From this Hotwire hotel thread i I have booked the Intercontinental for 2/27-3/5, However ...For the first night of 2/26 I can't get a 'resort' hotel...These are 2 options that keep showing up .. What are they likely to be...3 stars $109 Boutique Hotel Beachfront Fitness Center It also says ...... This hotel charges a resort fee. Yet it doesn't say it is a resort...2nd one...3 Stars $125 Has a icon with 'Bed Choice' once I open up the 'see all'Casino Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services Thanks for your help...
thereuare Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 I have moved your post to its own topic since this is a 'new' purchase and you may (likely) win a different hotel... having its own topic will enable us to reflect the details of the hotel you eventually receive in the topic title of this thread. As HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, and each of the above are listed as 3 stars, what parameters are you using for each search to make each property appear? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Goldeneye Posted January 8, 2011 Author Report Posted January 8, 2011 :) OOOP's My mistake.... The 2nd hotel should read ... 4 stars 2nd one...**** 4 Stars $125 Has a icon with 'Bed Choice' once I open up the 'see all'Casino Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services
thereuare Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 The 4* matches the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino so that would be my best guess for this one.I'm not sure of the 3* Boutique property... could be the Water Club with few amenities then it has previously been seen with, but don't have a good sense for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Goldeneye Posted March 28, 2011 Author Report Posted March 28, 2011 I should report back that to our surprise the taxi took us to the Sheraton Convention Centre and not downtown as we had thought.. The hotel was nice the bedroom great, it would be a good location for anyone wanting to spend 1 night prior to joining a cruise from the Pam Am pier.
thereuare Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Thanks for the follow-up... glad you enjoyed your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
