amlos Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 Just got a couple of rooms at the 3.5* Hyatt Westlake Plaza in Thousand Oaks, CA for $95 a night which is $111.41 with taxes for 12/30 - 12/31/10 Upgrading to a suite is an extra $60. I have seen this hotel fluctuate between $85 and $95 in the lastweek.HOTWIRE will try to charge you an extra $40 for adding 2 kids but just book it without them as the hotel itself doesn't charge for additional people (up to 4 I believe). The hotel is very clean and nice with comfy beds and pillows, crown molding in the rooms, and flatscreen TV's.No fridge in our rooms though...Amenities listed were: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant, Businss Center, high speed internet access (which they charge $9.95 for), and Spa.I booked both rooms individually through the betterbidding HOTWIRE link for myself and some family members.Hope this helps. Thanks BB

amlos Posted December 31, 2010 Author Report Posted December 31, 2010 Thanks, I got the suite upgrade for my family members and it is nice. Not a seperate room but much larger than the regular room with a dining table and a seating area. A word of caution, the room service food was not good, at least not tonight.
