Priceline Hotel: 4* Toronto (Downtown) Sheraton Centre

Delayed in posting this info - sorry.

Actually placed/won bid back on April 3rd.

Looking for 9 nights between April 15 & 24.

Had initially considered returning to my usual hotel Marriott/Courtyard downtown which I have been very happy with but rate has gone up quite a bit to $189 Cdn.

Heard about this bidding strategy so thought I would give it a try.

First selected 4* downtown only area at $50 and was turned down

Used strategy and added 2nd area (Don valley) that only has 2 & 3 stars

Upped bid to $55 and got the Toronto Sheraton Centre!

As I am formally from Toronto I am familiar with this hotel. When I lived there it was great. Assume reason it comes up on Priceline so often is just because they are more aggressive at filling rooms and are rather large.

Look forward to a pleasant stay and these savings.
