I just booked a 4* San Diego Gaslamp Quarter - Convention Center area Hotel for Jan 28th-Jan30th 2011

Sorry you had to re-enter your dates but my guess is that it was unrelated to our search box and just a temporary glitch. HOTWIRE only allows reservations 330 day in advance so it will 'know' the year you're searching for... i just did a search for your dates using the search box and it worked fine, if you continue to have any problems please let us know.
