krlbrgmnn Posted April 6, 2005 Report Posted April 6, 2005 Bid this as a "one-shot" at PL, as I have come to dislike them since their 1st/2nd yr of biz. Was amazed that I got it on the first try. Wondered if it was b/c of my multi-room bid, which I normally don't do. I've tried for this again but have never come close it. I think this was my best PL deal ever.This was one of the classiest hotels in which I've stayed (never stayed at a 5*). Awesome bed, chic room, & super view! The public areas were quite impressive too; really gave me the "highly upscale" impression.Parking $ were insane; ~$20/day as I recall. I parked around the block on the curb for free (& legally). Very busy area, near Planet Hollywood, shopping, etc.

rich40245 Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 There is no Westin in Atlanta - Midtown.There are Westin Hotels in Atanta - Downtown, and Atlanta - Buckhead. If krlbrgmnn was near Planet Hollywood, then the hotle was the Downtown hotel.Rich
