tylercwhite Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 Bid up to $85 the other day on Fisherman's Wharf 3.5 star hotels and didn't win anything. Today, won with first bid of $70. I doubt you could win with much lower. Sheraton doesn't have the GREATEST reviews, and no free wi-fi :) - but it does have a great location and rooms typically run at least $170+ per night.4 nights for 333 with tax. not bad!
AaronJB Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Sorry to hear that the property isn't optimal, but price-wise, quite a nice deal.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
tylercwhite Posted November 24, 2010 Author Report Posted November 24, 2010 here's a great little trick i just picked up - this hotel charges like 14.95 a day for WiFi - but if you buy the monthly pass at boingo.com - its 9.95 for a month and this hotel is one of their clients. so voila - 9.95 for unlimited internet for the duration of our stay.
sfntvintx Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 I stayed there last year at the same time. They have free WIFI in the lobby/cafe/bar area. I just went down there when I needed to use my computer. It's a nice enough hotel. And $70 is a great price.
