thereuare Posted June 17, 2003 Report Posted June 17, 2003 I have never rented a car in California, but a search on Orbitz just showed a $240 rate for your stay (luxury car) which is just about what you are paying. Perhpas with a discount code you could do a little better. Most other rates thru Orbitz were in the mid-$300's, so if you overpaid, it wasn't by much.However, i did just check Hotwire and a luxury is showing for your dates at $41/day, so i would say that maybe you could have ultimately done slightly better than you did (but who knew at the time?), but not by much, and certainly not enough to lose sleep over.Since you did shop around, i'm sure you got the best price that was available at the time that you booked.
