Hotwire Hotel: Need help with 4* hotel in La Quinta - Indian Wells for 11/12 - 11/14

I'm pretty sure this is the La Quinta Resort and Spa based on this statement:

This hotel typically charges all guests a resort fee regardless of how the room is booked. The hotel collects this fee of about $30 per room per night directly from you, so it won't show in your Hotwire

This is a match for both La Quinta Resort Club and Hyatt Grand Champions Resort Indian Wells. And both hotels charge a resort fee.

But my guess would be La Quinta.

So are you saying that Hotewire can say on their site that tripadvisor gives the hotel 4*'s, but in actuality Tripadvisor only gives the hotel 31/2*'s??

And, why do your guess that it is La Quinta? I'll be so upset if the hotel was Hyatt. Not what I'm looking for at all!

I understand this, however, on Hotwire, under this listing, it states that Tripadvisor rates this hotel at 4*'s (4 green circles).

The Hyatt, under tripadvisor only received 3/12*'s

The tripadvisor ratings are not updated live; if there has been a change recently, it may not be reflected in the TA rating showing on HOTWIRE. The tripadvisor ratings can make trying to narrow down a listing lean one way or another, but it is not a guarantee of a particular property.
