Added South Edmonton Bid $105 rejected

Added Airport Edmonton Bid $115 rejected

I believe one night of the four may not be available.

Decided to try 3* South Edmonton $65 rejected

Added airport $70 rejected. Not sure if I want to try 3* West Edmonton Any idea's please what hotel is 3.5* West Edmonton, not many posts lately in Edmonton

I'm a native Edmontonian. I think you'll have a hard time getting a 4 star during this period. I am assuming that given the dates you are wanting a room that you're going to the Canadian Finals Rodeo, or you've unfortunately picked the wrong time to look for a hotel in Edmonton.

On Hotwire, what looks like a match for the 3.5 star Delta Edmonton South hotel for $132 is available, but not a huge savings over the Delta's own website which offers rooms at $159 Canadian. If you aren't familiar with Edmonton, this is not a bad alternative for West Edmonton, as you are right along Whitemud Drive at Calgary Trail, which is the southern east-west road for Edmonton. It's a nice hotel. I had my wedding reception there and not one of our invitees complained about the hotel.

You also seem to be avoiding downtown Edmonton. All the known PL hotels are pretty good, although I would have reservations about the Chateau Lacombe, which has seen better days. If you are going to the CFR, being downtown is better because the LRT that would take you to the rodeo is very accesible from the downtown core.

Proud to be Canadian!
