Hotwire Hotel: 4* Cancun (Riviera Maya) Allegro Playacar Occidntl

Got the Occidental Allegro Playacar by Occidental for the second week in May 2005. BEWARE: although Hotwire advertises this as a beachfront, the beach has been washed out by the hurricanes of last year. Had to get Hotwire to refund my money because of that. I wanted a beach not a harbor hotel!!

I got this Hotwire 4* hotel for May 28-30 and just came back. I'd rate it 2.5*. The bathroom is extremely run down and needs renovation. I think it looks worse than a dorm bathroom. I wish I could post the pictures here. Everything is old and needs improvement. Food is good and the staffs are friendly. However, I felt being ripped-off because it's way far from 4*. Any suggestion?

It would be odd for an All-Inclusive to only have 8 amenities, can you confirm that there are only eight? You'll need to click the link "View complete amenity list and description" to see if there are more than eight (as they only show eight icons on the 'splash page'... you need to click the link to see if there are more).
