leopardprint Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Hi everyone,Is there a list on this forum of airline carriers you have won by bidding? I've had lots of success with hotels on Priceline, but have never tried bidding on flights, and as a very fearful flyer needing to book a cross-country flight, I'd like to make sure I get an airline I'll feel safe on. Do they only use the majors, or are some smaller airlines in there as well?(Not asking for the "airline travel is safe" lecture...I've heard it a million times. :) Just looking for a carrier list.)Thanks in advance!
thereuare Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Found this page on their website: Priceline Airline Partners Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
dahammer Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Do they only use the majors, or are some smaller airlines in there as well?Note that even the "Majors" contract with some of the minors to handle some flights, for example, the aircraft might be flying the colors of Continental but it could be operated by a regional carrier such as Colgan Air.

I may actually end up booking the traditional way instead of bidding, but either way this is very helpful. :)

trentslori Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 For what it's worth...I believe most of the time, I've "won" United Airlines.
