Priceline Hotel: 3* Saddle Brook-Teaneck (Paramus-Hackensack) Hyatt Place

Bid $49 today (Oct. 25) for a 3* in the Paramus zone. I was given the option of adding $15 to my bid for a free rebid. I did not accept.

I then added on the Ridgefield zone for a free rebid. (They only have a 1* lodging). I upped my bid to $51 and won the Hyatt Place. We have stayed here in the past and are very happy with our win.

I have a question though. Can someone tell me how much of the taxes and fees go to Priceline? Is it a flat fee or a percentage of the win?

On a one nite stay the booking fee is ~$7/nite but fluctuates a little based upon the amount of the winning bid. As well, the longer the stay the lower the booking fee per nite goes.

Actually we are familiar with all the wins for this area. Some are better than others and we are very happy with what we got this time.
