Buzliteyear Posted October 12, 2010 Report Posted October 12, 2010 I know that Priceline is not a good tool for trying to target or avoid a specific hotel.Having said that, is there any value in first researching the direct purchase side of Priceline? For example, if I check the Phoenix area for 4-star hotels and seven hotels come up, is it safe to assume they would be the only ones that could be awarded if I were to switch over to the Name-your-own price side? This would be an interesting experiment. dahammer Posted October 12, 2010 Report Posted October 12, 2010 you can check PRICELINE's "Shop and Compare" side, but its possible that not all hotels participate in the "Name Your Own Price" side. Conversely, not all NYOP hotels particpate in the S&C product.
