thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Please go back to HOTWIRE and list all the amenities associated with these hotels. They will only show up to 8 amenity icons on the search page, but if you click 'view details and complete amenties' you will see any additional amenities associated with this property. Given the area and the type of hotels in it, i suspect each of the above have more, please double check. Thanks! TopazAl
Thanks thereuare!!! :)Quick question.. I'm planning my vacation for Sept this year. Should I book now through Hotwire or wait until August or during Summer for last minute deal? Would there be a big difference in price?? Link to comment
thereuare
There is no definitive answer, but some thoughts:MOST IMPORTANT: as HOTWIRE is non-cancellable/non-refundable, purchase only when your plans are firmPositives of Purchasing Now:-price locked in, don't have to worry about price increases (downside is price can go down)-don't have to spend time thinking/researching it anymore-can focus on other parts of your tripRisks of Waiting:-price can go up-hotel you want can disappear, replaced by a lower priced, less desirable oneCONCLUSION: if you're happy with the hotel and the price, and the savings are significant, buy it Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
bluedog925
The Hyatt has been a 5*, not a 4.5. (Unless something has changed)The Westin has been a 4.5 and the Sheraton a 4*All three are very nice properties. I've stayed at Hyatt 3 times andSheraton once. Sheraton has a way better beach than the Hyatt, but the Hyatt is a little more elegant. The Westin is located in the very middle of these other two propertieson a beautiful beach and with a beautiful pool, but the rooms are muchtinier. However, they do have Heavenly Bed there.I've seen the Hyatt for as low as $180 on Hotwire for Aug 21-28 '04 (meaning that you had to bid it at that amount in Feb 04) and itwas running at about $222 last year around this time for a visit in May (which by the way was the same rate I got by booking Hyatt.com internet rates too)The Sheraton I've seen for as low as $154 a night on Hotwire in '04,but now maybe it's $170 on up, and the Westin I've seen run anywherebetween $185 to $220 or so ... all of these prices have been Hotwire, not PL. bluedog925
Aggggggh! Strike my above post, at least the part about the Hyatt. It seems that the Hyatt has been downgraded, (I believe)The Hyatt was FORMERLY a 5*, and it was indeed listed as a "customer favorite" Now, I definitely believe the 4.5 customer fave is the Hyatt andhere's why.....If you click on the link above the words "customer Favorite" it says"read reviews" or soemthing of the sort... anyway, someone mentionssomething about this property being a 5-star propery, so thereforeI think we have it....
