Izzycam
Hello, arriving in New York for 4 nights 9 th December, any ideas for areas to stay and bids to put in from a tourist's perspective would ideally like a 3 or 4 star. Thanking you kindly. P.S. what a fantastic site. Link to comment
dahammer
Welcome! What is your maximum budget per night, excluding taxes and fees? We wouldn't want to suggest a bidding strategy that would exceed your budget. Also, if you are successful with PRICELINE, your hotel room may only have a double bed, will this accomodate your needs? Izzycam
Ok Thanks I will try hotwire, what would you suggest is the price I should put in for these dates, and any ideas on a nice hotel within easy reach of a subway, seeing as we plan to walk everywhere, don't tell my kids.lol :) Link to comment
Izzycam
Have just tried HOTWIRE, and they have come up with a couple of options ranging from $359 to $309 for 3/4 star, which is still quite expensive, don't you think. Link to comment
Izzycam
Have just managed to get the Holiday inn Wall street $222.17 through family and friends code.Thank you so much for your help, I will certainly use this site along with PRICELINE, but I realise it's a little harder to book two beds in New York. :) Perhaps next time I'll leave the kids behind :) Thank You again, much appreciated!
