embodude Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 I'm looking for a room the weekend of 10/8-10/10 in San Francisco Union Square East. The price on hotwire is $209 and it includes.....fitness center, resturants, business center, and high speed internet. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
AaronJB Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Good evening. Please provide a follow-up to your prior Hotwire Waikiki thread (post in that thread what you decided to do for that stay.) Then reply to this thread and we will be happy to look into the above listing.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
embodude Posted September 21, 2010 Author Report Posted September 21, 2010 Just posted an update on my last stay in Waikiki. Bare with me since I'm still new to this site. Thanks.
thereuare Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Please provide the additional information requested in your Waikiki Hotel thread (room rate, star rating, if HOTWIRE was used the amenities shown before your purchase, etc)For the San Francisco property above, this matches previous reports for the Inter-Continental so that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
embodude Posted September 24, 2010 Author Report Posted September 24, 2010 I ended up not booking through HOTWIRE since the price was really high for that weekend. We are going to change the dates and see if we can find a better weekend with lower rates. Thanks for your help.

John from L.A. Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 For what it's worth...I spent a lot of time today research this exact question. The Union Square East area for Hotwire is larger than Priceline's, and includes the Moscone Center area. There is currently a 4 and 1/2 star hotel offered in this area for $139. If they are using Hotels.com, there is only ONE hotel with that star rating: The Intercontinental.Just in case anyone is interested. Want to give back a little here.-- John
aimseeee Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 I just booked this on Hotwire for Nov 12-16 and got the Intercontinental (and used this forum HOTWIRE link, of course :) )
thereuare Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 aimseeee,Thanks for your post. Can you please add your win to the board as a NEW TOPIC so that others will be aware of the win for these dates when searching the topic titles on the board and in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins. Please include in your post the star rating, city, zone, hotel name, room rate, dates and amenities shown before your purchase... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.Thank you for sharing your results and using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase.Enjoy your stay.PS- please also follow-up your Priceline NYC thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay. THANKS! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
