aimseeee
Hello, all! I had great success booking rooms on priceline through this forum for a trip to Southern California a month ago, but am getting stuck booking NYCMy steps:Specified 2 Room at $125 for 4* in Downtown NY, was rejectedAdded Chelsea, lowered stars to 3.5*, upped bid to $126, was rejectedAdded midtown, lowered stars to 3, upped bid to $127, was rejectedAny tips? Am I just bidding too low? Does booking 2 rooms hurt/hinder me? I thought $127 for a 3* on priceline sounded reasonable. Link to comment

thereuare
Let's back up a moment... is there a reason you're only bidding Chelsea and Downtown, as these aren't exactly the most similar zones, both in terms of 'vibe' and geographic location.Exactly what criteria are you looking for from this stay? When you say you added "midtown" above, which zone was it that you select (as 'midtown' is not a PRICELINE zone)Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know the above and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
