atreu
Doing a mileage run on the 5th. Will be driving in to milwaukee on the 4th evening. Just need a place to crash for a few hours. What would betterbidding members recommend ? Cheap and free parking would be ideal as would close proximity to the MKE airport. Thanks! Link to comment
Bob24
Well, I would suggest that you use the PRICELINE link on his site and use the tips found here to get a room in the General Mitchell MKE zone. The 3 star Wyndham has been won several times for right around $40. It is a dump with horrible reviews, but it is cheap, parking is free and they have a shuttle. If you are looking for bargain basement lodging that may be your best bet.Assuming you mean October 5th, Hotwire shows 4 options for that date. There is a two star for $39 (bound to be nicer than the Wyndham), a 2.5 star for $48 (beware, only 45% would recommend), a 3 star for $53, and a 3.5 star for $99. Link to comment
atreu
bid $40 on a 3.5 star hotel in downtown - wanted to replicate experience of another poster on possibly getting the pfister. got the hilton milwaukee instead. Oh well, that is ok except for the parking fee which is not sitting well with me.Anyone have any luck finding cheaper parking nearby ? Link to comment
AaronJB
Congrats on your success. :)Sorry to hear that the parking is high at this property, but there may be local lots lately that are cheaper.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
