thereuare Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! What are the date(s) of your stay and is this in the Airport zone? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Redcat Posted March 23, 2005 Author Report Posted March 23, 2005 Hi thereuare, the dates are 04/29/05 to 05/09/05. The hotel is located to Fort Lauderdale Beach Area and not the Airport zone.I rechecked it today.Thank you,Redcat
thereuare Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 This hotel has not yet been identified, but if i had to take a guess the Ft. Lauderdale Plaza seems to be a pretty good match. If you go for this please let us know what it is and use this HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase. You may also want to consider the Clarion Beach Resort which is available for all of your dates except the first two nites. You can put in a request for all nites and see if they can fufill it or buy for all nites except for the first two and stay elsewhere your first two nites. The reviews seem 'ok' for an under $70/nite hotel on the beach.Let us know your thoughts and what you decide to do. Redcat Posted March 23, 2005 Author Report Posted March 23, 2005 Hi,thank you for your reply. I'm really undecided what to do, priceline is also an option, but my bids were rejected. I would like to stay at a hotel close to the beach, what would be guaranteed through Hotwire. The prices are very high for these dates as there is a big conference in Fort Lauderdale. Some time is left to speculate for better options, so I will certainly keep you informed about my strategy and the outcome. I never used priceline, but I twice used Hotwire with success. On the other side, deals with Priceline seem to be a bit better, if I understand the experiences of the Board members.Thank you,Redcat
