Texasu2 Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Hi, I am going to PRICELINE thru this site and unsuccessfully bidding upto $146 for a 4 * picking all of the areas except for San Mateo and the Airport. I see most ppl got their 4* for around 110. Am I missing something? :) Need help. Thanks
thereuare Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! There is a large convention starting 9/19 which is ratcheting up rates... is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? (NOTE: you'll likely have to change hotels during your stay) In your reply please list the zones, by PRICELINE name, which you have bid (rather then the ones that you did not bid) and we'll take it from there. Thanks for using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Texasu2 Posted September 4, 2010 Author Report Posted September 4, 2010 such a quick reply back...very impressive! Splitting hotels would be very inconvenient and we don't wan to do that but are open to any 4* in the following area:USEUSWSOMAFishermanFinancialOr if I have missed any other good area.If 4 star doesn't work then we can even go for a 3.5 star.Pref dates: Sep 16-20Alter dates: Sep 23-27Thanks for your help.

Texasu2 Posted September 4, 2010 Author Report Posted September 4, 2010 Since there is a convention going on, changing our dates to sep 23- 27.
thereuare Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 There are currently no 4* hotels offered in the Fishermans Wharf zone so we won't include that in your bidding. At the 4* level you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* USE and USW...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* SOMA and Financial...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* SOMA and USW...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* USE and Financial...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* USE and SOMA...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* USW and Financial...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* USE, USW, SOMA, Financial...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150Any questions feel free to ask.
