thereuare Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!I'm not seeing the Hackensack property on a current HOTWIRE search for your nite above... are you still seeing this on your own HOTWIRE search? If so, are you searching for more then one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?Also, as i'm familiar with this area, can i ask what the purpose of this stay is for, as these are two very different areas, imo. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases... please use for your searches as well, and click this HOTWIRE link before replying. Thanks! merf Posted September 3, 2010 Author Report Posted September 3, 2010 Thanks for the reply. In both cases, I searched for 1 room 4 adults. My search date is 10/8/10 and it still comes up. I really appreciate your help on this.

merf Posted September 3, 2010 Author Report Posted September 3, 2010 My wife and I are flying into LaGuardia (late) from AZ and meeting my daughter and her husband. My first inclination was to just get a hotel near the airport. However, I saw the other 3-star for a good price and got curious. I didn't look like the Hackensack area was too far. We just need a place to sleep and the next day we do the NY tourist thing. Any help/advice will be much appreciated!
merf Posted September 3, 2010 Author Report Posted September 3, 2010 Now I see that the Hackensack property would be quite a distance from LaGuardia. Forget that questions (I guess). So any ideas on the 3* LaGuardia Airport LGA - Flushing area hotel?
thereuare Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 To clarify/confirm... your daughter and son-in-law live in the area (and where are you meeting them) OR you and your wife, and your daughter and son-in-law, all live elsewhere and are meeting in the NYC area.Just a one nite stay? merf Posted September 4, 2010 Author Report Posted September 4, 2010 Son-in-law is an AF pilot. They are stationed at McGuire AFB. We just need a night's stay in NY to see the sights the next day and then take the train down to McGuire.

thereuare Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Not reported yet as such, but my guess for the HOTWIRE 3* property is the Crowne Plaza, downgraded from the last reported 3.5* level. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
