Priceline Hotel: help for Hilton Hawaiian Village bidding

I haven't seen any recent winning bids for Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki Marina Area, I would like to stay in this resort for Oct 7 - Oct 20. What price should I start my bidding? My budget is $130/night ( all included). Thanks.

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE. You need to be willing to stay at any Resort in the zone you're bidding at. Are you ok with this?

HHV might be the only reported resort for this zone but there could be changes we don't know about yet.

Is there no way to confirm that this is the only resort in the zone by carefully mapping it out and looking at all the hotels mentioned on TripAdvisor or PRICELINE?

Don't the zones mentioned for a hotel on the retail side of things match the way the hotel will appear on the opaque side?

The short answer to your question is: No. You have a pretty good chance of being right using that methodology, but you cannot be completely certain. For example, supposing the Prince got itself reclassified as a resort?

The longer answer: It's two diffrent services and the two major things are that they use different zones and hotels. So you wouldn't know if PRICELINE adds a hotel to the NYOP that is not reported.
