hohogap Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 When I bid on a PRICELINE hotel, the screen where you place the bid shows average rate for hotels in that star category. Does anyone know if that rate reflects the dates you are bidding or current rates? I've been bidding for a hotel that says the average 5* rate is $196/night. There are only 3 - 5* hotels in the area that I can identify and the cheapest nightly rate amongst the hotels on the web (and even on PL) is over $240 for the dates I am bidding.
