Oops. The last item should be "Spa Services", not "Fitness". And I went ahead and close out the Vancouver thread - sorry about that.

just to complete this thread, i kept checking hotwire and finally found the 4 star hotel that i was looking for:

9/19 thru 9/22 for 4 stars at $194/night

amenities: Boutique Hotel, Near Beach, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Golf Nearby

as previously identified on threads before, this is the Harbor View Inn. Saved about $45/night
