GlobeTrotter77 Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 I have a friends and family deal to get the Holiday Inn Express Wall Street (3*) for $132/night. I wanted to check and see if there are any better deals to bid on a 3* or 4* in Midtown or Downtown New York City. Thanks in advance for your advice and help.
smartcookie Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 Priceline's system involves bidding. It's impossible to predict what price you may get. You can start by looking up the regular rates for all the hotels in the star level you're going to bid on. You also need to make sure that you'll be happy with any hotels of that star level in that neighborhood before you bid since reservations cannot be cancelled. This is during Labor Day weekend. So that rate you mentioned is very good already. I always the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links from this board for my purchase!

thereuare Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 Based upon current prices you're not going to do better then $132/nite for a 3* hotel in NYC for the dates above. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
