disney Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 is the 3.5* in dorval area the crowne plaza montreal airport?
AaronJB Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 If you would like assistance with your stay, please provide the date/s of travel. The Crowne Plaza is the only 3.5* that has been reported to the board in this zone, but there could always be others that have not yet been reported. You could also get upgraded to the 4* level when bidding 3.5. The list of PRICELINE hotels in Canada that have been reported to the board are available at this link. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
disney Posted August 11, 2010 Author Report Posted August 11, 2010 dates are aug 15-20I really would like the Crowne Plazathere is also a 3.5* in Montreal area is that the Embassy Suites?
AaronJB Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 PRICELINE is not an optimal choice for getting a particular hotel, as there is no way to ensure a particular property. The ES is the only 3.5* that has been reported to the board in the Montreal zone, but as with the Crowne Plaza mentioned above, there could definitely be a different 3.5* appear that hasn't yet been reported to the board or you could be upgraded to 4*. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
dahammer Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 bid $45 was rejectedyou may want to use the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins to check for recent winning bids in this area. I don't believe $45 will do it.
bystander Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 Agree with previous posts, $45 won't do it, given at peak of vacationing season and low exchange rate of US$/CA$. I stayed in Crowne Plaza about a month ago and paid around $70 per night over weekends. In addition, the hotels near airports have more vacancy on weekends than weekdays. Reverse is true for city proper hotels. You can take advantage that as well. Good luck.
