Hotwire Hotel: 2.5* Montreal (Downtown) Hotel Le Roberval

had several unsuccessful bids in Priceline's Montreal zone, so I went over to HOTWIRE and saw a 2.5* with the following amenities: Smoke Free Rooms, Comp Breakfast, Kitchenette, Laundry.

Hotel rate per night: $79.00

Tax recovery charges and fees: $19.69

Total price: $98.69

This place gets mixed reviews on Tripadvisor, but the room was decent and it would work well for an extended stay. The room had a refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave oven, small dining table and a sofa (not sure if it was a sofa bed or not). Overall, my room was on the small side, but adequate. I think this may have been an apartment building before conversion to a hotel. Parking is an additional $15 at an adjacent hotel, but there are few parking spots and I got the last one in the evening. A Free Continental Breakfast is served on the lower level, great croissants. There is a bus line that runs right by the hotel for access into the downtown area. I would stay here again.
