Neelee
I tried bidding this area for March and was not successful. I have another "opportunity" to go to Wenatchee in May and won, but not at the original 3* as I had hopedBidding Date: 03/11/05 for Friday May 13, 2005 to Sunday, May 15, 2005Bid $45 Wenatchee Area - 3* - REJECTEDBid $47 Yakima Area - REJECTED (Free rebid because highest in Yakima is 2.5*)Bid $49 Wenatchee Area - 2.5* ACCEPTEDLa Quinta Inn & Suites Wenatchee1905 N Wenatchee AveWenatchee, WA 98801Phone: (509)664-6565Priceline lists this as a 2.5*, however TripAdvisor, Expedia, Orbitz, Hotels.com and Roomsaver.com lists it as a 2* hotel. Total with Priceline fees/taxes = $114.84Lowest rates found for the same time:La Quinta website - $62.90Expedia - $89.00 (hah! ridiculous. I have never found Expedia to be a great bargain)Hotels.com - $67.00Orbitz - $64.75Roomsaver.com - $64.00Travelocity - $61.28 (plus $17 worth of fees = $140)Not much of a savings, but 20 bucks is 20 bucks and just enough for a nice dinner.I realize Wenatchee is not a popular destination but perhaps this information will help someone else in the future. This board is the greatest place for bidding help!!
