Priceline Hotel: 4* East Muni Anchorage Alyeska Prince

Here's the deal, Anchorage does not have a 4* nor does it have zone selections. I got to this phantom "East Municipality" 4* property by entering the city of Girdwood and following Priceline's redirection to East Municipality Anchorage, 28.6 miles from Girdwood.

Initial bid for 4/9/2005 of $85 rejected

Changed date to 4/2/2005 & increased bid to $100.

Accepted!

While I can get this room for $130 through Orbitz and I have heard others say a $126 AAA rate, I was bidding mostly to see what this mysterious 4* we had in Anchorage was. Purchasing through the hotel website directly gets a lowest rate for those dates of $175.

My interest is now totally piqued, we have some extremely nice hotels in some very odd locations in this state... I think I might have a new mission of finding these odd little "cities" within the state :)

I wonder how many rooms they don't sell because nobody can find out how to book it!
