Poco Diablo Resort is no longer affiliated with the Radisson brand. Not sure if this will affect the bidding process on priceline. Its is now called Poco Diablo Resort with the Radisson named dropped.

New York Midtown East - no more 5 star bidding availabe

While the Waldorf Towers is still rated 5 stars in Priceline retail and vacation packages, 5 star bidding is no longer available in the MTE zone.

I need to retract the change I posted on July 15th in the old thread. Denver Airport zone is once again showing 3.5* available for bidding.

To expand on travelguy2's update: The Marriott Denver Airport was briefly downgraded to 3*, then upgraded back to 3.5* -- along with the Crowne Plaza.

Long overdue Priceline updates/corrections part 1:

Phoenix, AZ:

The Holiday Inn Select (Phoenix Airport) no longer exists -- it became the Crowne Plaza.

The Homewood Suites MetroCenter has been downgraded to 2.5*.

The Happy Valley zone was split off from the MetroCenter zone, not the North Scottsdale zone. The hotel listed as the Residence Inn Phoenix North in the North Scottsdale zone is probably the Residence Inn Scottsdale North. All of the hotels currently listed in the MetroCenter zone are still in that zone; none of them are in the Happy Valley zone.

The Orange Tree Golf Resort has been upgraded to 3*.

The Hotel Theodore (formerly the Mondrian Scottsdale) has been downgraded to 3*.

The Clarion Hotel Scottsdale has been downgraded to 2.5*.

Orange County, CA:

The Radisson Newport Beach has been moved from the Costa-Mesa Irvine zone to the Newport - Huntington Beach zone.

The Country Plaza Inn San Clemente is now the 2.5* Holiday Inn Express San Clemente.

San Francisco, CA:

The Radisson Fisherman's Wharf has been upgraded to 3*.

The Galleria Park (USE) has been upgraded to 3.5*.

San Jose, CA:

The Moorpark Hotel (Cupertino - Campbell) has been downgraded to 3*.

There is no Hilton Garden Inn in the Palo Alto zone. This is likely the Hilton Garden Inn Mountain View (located, not surprisingly, in the Mountain View zone).

The Dolce Hayes Mansion (San Jose South) has been upgraded to 3.5*.

The Biltmore Hotel (Sunnyvale - Santa Clara) has been downgraded to 2.5*.

I noticed that the list of Hotwire hotels for Worcester MA still shows the Crowne Plaza as a possible 3*, but that hotel is now closed. (It has been crossed off the Priceline list.) Thanks.

Hilton Dowtown Pittsburgh which has had its recent problems has more - Hilton removed its name from hotel and it is no longer listed on its booking site. This has also resulted mortgage company filing foreclosure.

I was doing a little research for some upcoming stays in the inland empire of California and noticed that Priceline now has two zones for Ontario - and east zone and a west zone. The hotel list may need some updating...

Oakland/East Bay Dublin/Pleasanton zone. The 3* Holiday Inn Dublin (formerly Radisson) is downgraded back to 2.5* per Priceline Vacation packages.

Disneyland anaheim and Disneyland Garden Grove added 4* in the past few days. DL garden grove used to have Hyatt as a 4* a couple years ago, but I'm unsure what hotel is now 4* in the DL anaheim area.
