Question about Priceline bidding

I have used Priceline for a few years now with the help of this board but lately I have become frustrated with the Priceline site as they aren't sending me confirmations once the hotel has been won/booked. I contacted them and they say they have fixed the issue but I'll have to wait till my next booking. My current problem is every time I bid now I get a window which says the following:

In most cases, we'll be able to tell you whether or not you got your hotel room within 15 minutes. We're still working on your hotel room request, and should have an answer for you soon. You can also get your answer at any time by clicking on the "Check Your Requests" button at the top of the priceline.com home page.

Please wait several minutes and click the "Check My Offer Status" button to see if we have an answer for you. While you are waiting you can also claim your Special Offer for your request today!

Which means I have to wait a minimum of 15 minutes between every bid. This is a big pain and I am curious to know if others are having similar issues.

This happened to me on one occasion in the past few months and yes, it is a major pain to wait in limbo, I can't withdraw the bid and go with HOTWIRE until I get an answer.
