This seems like a new one because hotwire says "We are still gathering reviews for this property."

2*, San Diego Downtown - Harbor Island, $53/night from 11/13/2010-11/17/2010.

The amenities are complimentary breakfast, laundry, and high-speed internet.

The most similar in the list is Harborview Inn & Suites, but that does not list laundry.

Thanks for your help in identifying this rental.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

This property has not yet been reported to the board. However, this may not necessarily be a new hotel, as we have seen some situations where when a hotel is upgraded/downgraded that the number of reviews resets.

The Holiday Inn Express with fewer amenities then last reported to the board, the Rodeway Inn or Harborview with some new amenities, or some completely new property are all possible.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.

Please follow-up this thread with whatever you end up doing for this stay, even if you choose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc.

Thanks for the info!

At the end of the day I did not get it. Using this site's boxes I found the deal again, a while after my post. By the time I got my credit card info into the system (I got all the way to the finish line), it told me the deal was no longer available. Big disappointment. Back to the system, what appears to be the same hotel immediately showed up for $89/night (and still does). At this point, I direct booked at a place called La Pensione for $90/night.

I didn't think HOTWIRE would let an offer expire so quickly. After I clicked through to make my payment I was not especially slow.

Anyway, this is a useful site, and I'll be sure to return and contribute anything useful I learn. Thanks.

Without getting too technical, HOTWIRE caches some of their results, so at times some inventory (a very small percentage) is not 'live' and available for booking... i presume that was the case here, and not that you were too slow entering your information (although it is always possible that somebody else purchased the last room just before you)
