Colfax
Welcome to the board, baileyroxy.I'm not finding the same icons on my search. Is this a one night stay (checking out 8/19) or two nights? Are you searching on "2 adults/0 children" or some other combination? Please use these HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links for your purchases. baileyroxy
Oh shoot, sorry about that!yes, it's for just one night for 2 rooms (4 adults). Link to comment
Colfax
Thanks for the clarification. For the 3.5*: Marriott, Sheraton, and Kyoto Grand have all been reported with those icons. Those three also share the same TripAdvisor rating (3.5/5). It could be any of them. For the 3*: My best guess is Wilshire Grand, downgraded from 3.5* to 3*.PRICELINE usually beats HOTWIRE on rate. It's often worth paying a premium on HW when your know, or have some good idea, what you're getting. When there's great uncertainty about the HW outcome though, as in this case, you might think about trying Priceline, to try and beat the HW rate.If you want to try Priceline let us know for bid suggestions. If you choose one of the Hotwire options please let us know what you get. Link to comment

AaronJB
Please keep all discussion of this trip within this thread. Thanks. The PRICELINE Los Angeles hotels that have been reported to the board can be found at the site's Priceline Hotel List for California. When bidding (for example, for a 4* in Downtown Los Angeles), you could get any of the participating hotels at that star rating in that zone. There is no way to ensure a particular property. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
