amanda Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 I didn't see anywhere that gives an option to bid for more than one room, with the price of each room being what your bid is. Is it possible? I've seen notices of people who say they have 3 rooms at the same price - did they have to bid 3 times?
AaronJB Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 On the first page, when you click "Name Your Own Price" and search for the city, there is a button right below the search box for "rooms" - click on that and then select the number of rooms you want to bid for. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 It's also pretty easy to see in the PRICELINE search box on the top right corner of this page :)Is this for your Priceline London stay or a different city? What are the dates? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. HuskyJim Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 Has any one experienced any better offers if requesting multiple rooms, i.e., lower winning bids since you're booking more than one room at a time? Thanks for the help,Jim
thereuare Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 Trying for multiple rooms (2-3 rooms) is usually a non-factor, but if it does have an effect, it's to the downside. The hotel with the lowest rate needs to have offered as many rooms as you need into the system at the lowest rate, if the lowest rate hotel has only made inventory available for one room (or less than the number of rooms you're bidding) then the 'deal' would go to the hotel with the next lowest rate (which would be a higher rate than the first hotel). Hope that makes sense. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. HuskyJim Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Thanks for the info, and I understand the logic, it makes sense somewhat. I still will be needing the two rooms (for 3 separate nights) , so I'll see how it goes in my bidding for each one.
