Colfax Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 A new one for the Hotel List:Extended Stay America Sacramento-Northgate3825 Rosin CourtSacramento, CA 95834$27/1* was rejected. Room was $49.99 at extstay.comThe first room they gave me was already occupied---bed unmade, empty soda cans on table. The second room smelled like there was a dead dog under the bed. The third room I could live with for one night.Last year I swore off ESA's or bidding any parameters that might result in winning one. This was a slip and I feel badly. I'm back in rehab and I promise not to report another ESA again. The staff at the hotel were very nice, but that's not enough.Hotel is at I-80 and Northgate, next to a marijuana dispensary and an International House of Pancakes. Talk about synergy!Bids placed through the BetterBidding PRICELINE link.
BEAV Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 What's rehab like? Do they make you write 100 times on the chalk board...."I will never bid a 1* hotel again" Mention your "experience" to Priceline?? But then again, what can they do to downgrade a property already rated 1 star?
Colfax Posted July 5, 2010 Author Report Posted July 5, 2010 God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to accept the things I can; and wisdom to remember Priceline's Customer Service phone number if I have to demand a refund.Colfax
