Priceline Hotel: 4* San Diego (Downtown-Harbor Island) Sheraton Marina

Well for some reason I thought the only 4* hotels would be in the Gaslamp area. Bid Priceline $91 and it was accepted - but at the Sheraton. Live and learn!

Well for some reason I thought the only 4* hotels would be in the Gaslamp area.

A couple days ago someone posted here, in error, that all 4* hotels in Priceline's Downtown-Harbor zone are in the Gaslmap Quarter. Maybe you saw that post, but not the moderator's response to the post, which pointed out that the statement was inaccurate.

Live and learn. Shearton's got a nice big pool--better than most of the Gaslamp hotels--if that's any consolation.
