This was a long slog. I needed a hotel near Reagan Airport and started high with a bid of $50 for a 3.5* in Crystal City. I kept adding areas and increasing my bid, but nothing worked. Eventually I added 3* hotels and upped my bid to $60, which was accepted by the Holiday Inn near the airport.
