Hotwire Hotel: 3* Bakersfield Four Points

Hello Fellow Bidders!

I prefer PRICELINE, as it seems to get lower rates. However, I use HOTWIRE when I want to be more certain about which hotel I am getting, and when I need to indicate my children are traveling with me, both of which were true for this stay.

I believe the three icons I was shown were NON SMOKING, POOL and FITNESS, but it might have been NON SMOKING, POOL and RESTAURANT. (prior to booking I double checked that sheraton was a non-smoking)

Tripadvisor was 3.5 star (this was helpful in confirming the hotel I was looking at was the 4 pts)

Hotwire was 90% recommend

Base price 53 for 2 adults/2kids, with 66.84 including taxes and fees.

I specifically wanted this hotel because it is closer (than the Doubletree and the Marriott--both available on PRICELINE) to my extended family who reside in Bako. It is also special, as I grew up in Bako, and had my wedding in Bako. This was the hotel where my out-of-town wedding guests stayed, and where I spent my wedding night.

The amenities listed on my reservation confirmation are:

Smoke Free

Pool

Fitness Center

Restaurant

Only three icons were displayed when I booked, but I never clicked to check all amenities, so I suspect all were there. The reason I can't remember which three were displayed, is because I checked it so many times prior to booking, that I believe both sets of amenities were displayed.
