ruthmc1203 Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 What are the chances of a hotel honoring a request for a handicapped room? I'm considering using Priceline for a Seattle hotel one night pre-cruise, but my mother would do much better with a handicapped bathroom (she's not wheelchair-bound, just needs a higher seat). Thanks.

Colfax Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 From Priceline's Help Center:Can I get a handicapped-accessible room?If you have special needs (e.g., wheelchair accessible room) you must call the hotel and verify that special needs can be met. Most hotels will be glad to accommodate you if rooms are available. Your hotel reservation will be refunded, canceled or modified if the particular hotel cannot meet special needs. If your hotel does not have a handicapped accessible room available, please send us an e-mail.I know someone who's wheelchair bound and he's successfully gotten accesible rooms on PRICELINE a half dozen times or so, including in Vegas.
