dmoss123 Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 Hi, looking to get a 3.5* (or better) in Fisherman's Wharf on 07-17/07-18. I've bid up to $110 to no avail. I've seen much lower prices on this forum which have been accepted, is this a busy weekend or am I trying to book too early??Thanks,

dmoss123 Posted June 22, 2010 Author Report Posted June 22, 2010 Sorry, it's a one night stay on 07/17
unleashedmaniac Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 I've seen much lower prices on this forum which have been accepted, is this a busy weekend or am I trying to book too early??I've had the same luck for the same weekend. I wonder if something is going on in SF. I bid from $65 (optimistic) to $90 for a 4* in USE for 07/16 with no results.
AaronJB Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 Fisherman's Wharf seems particularly expensive in comparison to other areas of the city on these dates (on HOTWIRE) - possibly something going on in that area? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Colfax Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 It's possible you're still bidding too early for this stay 3+ weeks away. But Fisherman's Wharf rates are also high for your date, a Saturday night. HOTWIRE has:4* $2793.5* $1993* $173If you don't want to bid higher than $110 what about trying for a PRICELINE 3* (Holiday Inn or Best Western Tuscan)? Most people don't find much difference between the 3* and 3.5* in Fisherman's Wharf zone.
cosmogo Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Don't want to make a new topic, search also for a 3,5* hotel at Fisherman's Wharf 9/26/10-9/29/10.Now I'm up to 85$ so I will try to get a 3* hotel. I like the hotels except for the Heritage Marina. Can somebody tell me if this hotel is in the Fisherman's Wharf area also?!?!?!
