Using best pricing I could find as guide ($408+ total)

am considering starting bid under $25/day? (=~$360 total)

7/1 PM to 7/11 AM (10 total days)

Do you have tutorial for rental car bidding?

What is a typical best percentage off bidding vs. lowest published rate?

(nothing like 60% off sometimes with hotels?!)

HOTWIRE is $27/day ($386 all-in) for a fullsize vehicle, so i'd start at $18, then every 24 hours try again at $21, $24, $26.

so will bid each day going forward $21,22,23,24...

Question: there was something about a change in time allowing rebid,

if failed bid times were 7/1 12:30P pickup & 7/11 8:30A drop-off

can I rebid today by keeping same dates & only changing times? By how much minimum? 30 min.?

The "lock-out" period for car rentals is 24 hours, so you can bid again 24 hours after your last failed bid attempt.

The changing of the times only works if you're crossing over a calendar day (ie- instead of returning the car 7/8 at 11:30pm you list the return as 7/9 12:30am)
