Priceline Hotel: Resort Key West Wyndham Reach

I need a Resort or 3* in Key West for March 7th. The Hotwire prices are $210 for a resort and 181 for a 3 1/2 Star. . I have bid up to $130 for a Resort and $120 for a 3*.

Key West is a notoriously tough zone on Priceine.

What is the highest you are willing to spend at each star level? Do you have any back-up reserved? (if so, where and how much?)

I can go up to $160. Higher than that I might as well just use a hot Wire Hotel. I do not have a back up. Do you have any suggestions for back ups.

I suspect you might have to bid between $150 and $160 to win on Priceline. Prices look quite high for your dates.

Easy Click Travel has an Off the Record 3* for $159, which I think might be the Fairfield Inn by Marriott. The hotel's direct rate is $199.

But I think you might still be able to get a Resort property on Priceline by upping your bid to your limit.

Given time is running thin, and the prices of the alternatives (and the HOTWIRE resort now at $338), i would try bidding $160 for a Resort, if rejected try $150 for a 3*.

I seem to recall checking last nite and i also think that the Key West offer thru EASYCLICKTRAVEL is the Fairfield Inn, but i checked the reviews and some of them are awful.

I bid $155 for a resort and got the Wyndham Reach. I hope this will be a nice property. The lowest rate on the website was $278. Thank you so much for the help. :)
