Priceline Hotel: 3* San Antonio (Market Square) Holiday Inn Downtown Market Square

Tried $45 in a number of zones (Airport, Medical Center, Northwest) before finally landing in Market Square zone (is this a new zone?). Close enough to the action and for the price a good deal regular is $102. Used the PRICELINE link on the forum. Thanks!

Name of hotel is Holiday Inn San Antonio Downtown-Market Square.

Yes, this zone is new for the board (Thanx!). But i don't know how long it's been a zone on PRICELINE

Looks like PRICELINE has sub-divided the Downtown-Market Square into some smaller zones.

Also, i think your 2.5* bid was upgraded to a 3* property. This is the Holiday Inn at 318 Durango, correct? If so, PRICELINE currently rates this property 3 stars... does your winning bid confirmation screen say something to the effect "We found a hotel and have upgraded your star quality to a 3* property..."?

You are correct, about the address, name, and stars, Holiday Inn Market Square-Downtown is a 3* hotel. That address is important to note because very close by (a block away I believe) which is a Holiday Inn Express and Suites which is NOT the same hotel as the one I won, which as you noted is on 318 W. Durango. Also, the zone on Priceline that I bid on was "Market Square Area." Thanks!
